President
Maran Ilanchezhian, Washington, DC
Maran was supposed to write a blurb, but he was too busy with presidential duties. We'll forgive him this time, because he has an IQ that challenge Dr. Spencer Reed and looks to match Agent Morgan, but check back soon for an update on our favorite guy.

Co-President
Chinmay Dasari, Ashburn, VA
Chinmay is a sophomore at the College studying chemistry and biomathematics (lol what?) with hopes of going into medicine. Along with being a great co-president and full-time genius, Chinmay is also an expert on the smolder. Look at that face, it'll getcha every time.

Treasurer
Jisung Seo, Seoul, South Korea
Jisung is a Junior at the College from Burke, VA. She is a pre-med Neuroscience major and she enjoys the outdoors. Some of the things she does in her spare time are listening to Korean artists, sleeping, and taking walks to CW (Colonial Williamsburg). She joined Swastha Nepal because she was intrigued by the idea of a public health group being focused on a specific population for several years, and she is especially happy that Swastha Nepal is a small, tight group of hard-working students.

Outreach Chair
Lizzie Torrez, Santa Cruz, CA
Lizzie is a sophomore at the College studying Kinesiology with a Pre-Medicine concentration. She hopes to enter pediatric medicine, and pursue a career in nonprofit international healthcare. She hasn't taken a good selfie since her senior year of high school, so she has that going for her.

Josie Shawver, Vienna, VA
Team Members
Josie is a Senior at the College from Vienna, VA. She spends most of her free time painting and reading everything she comes across. She is a biology major who loves research and traveling, and has a passion for learning all she can about different cultures across the world. These things, along with her belief that everyone should have adequate health care regardless of who they are or where they live, are what inspired her to join Swastha Nepal. She loves that this student organization gives her a chance to learn about the topics she is most interested in while also helping to raise funds and awareness for healthcare disparities in Nepal.
William Sheahan, Arlington, VA
Will is a Senior from Arlington, VA. He is a biology major with a public health minor, and he is interested in addressing global health inequities. Will enjoys playing the violin, reading fantasy novels, and pretending to fish while sitting next to rivers. He joined Swastha Nepal to help raise awareness for public health issues in one of the world’s poorest countries, and he really enjoys learning about the culture of Nepal in conjunction with the issues affecting healthcare.
Caitlin Womack, Virginia Beach, VA
Caitlin Womack is a Senior at the College from Virginia Beach, VA pursuing a biology major with a public health minor. She has a passion for traveling, experiencing different cultures, and interacting with people of diverse backgrounds, so she is so excited for the opportunity to immerse herself in the culture of Nepal, learn about their public health system and work with the community to help, all while further exploring her interest in public health on the international scale. She believes that here in the US we are lucky enough to take our good health and access to health care for granted and has a strong desire to help those who are not so fortunate. She also loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking/backpacking, running, reading, and occasionally binge-watching television.

Prakrit Shukla, Mechanicsville, VA
Prakrit is a Freshman at WM from Mechanicsville, VA. He is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and International Business. Prakrit enjoys spending time with his Golden Retriever when he’s not playing tennis, dancing, volunteering, or debating. Additionally, he has a passion of Southeast Asian studies and travelling, both of which prompted his interest in Swastha Nepal. Prakrit joined the organization primarily due to the recent coverage of Nepal after the earthquake the devastated many in the region. He wanted to learn more about how he can raise awareness and funds for people who are struggling there, while also learning more about the culture and public health system of this international region.
